This hands-on workshop with Joanne Bodin will focus on techniques and exercises that help the writer expand their ability to graphically describe their characters, places, and scenes through the use of various writing conventions that elicit depth and dimension in their story. Help your readers feel like they are watching a movie in their head when they read your words. The genre of literary fiction is often associated with this type of writing. However, using depth and dimension and thick descriptions can enhance all types of fiction writing, whether it be memoir, short stories, novellas, or novels.
