SouthWest Writers offers various educational events to advance the skills and marketability of writers. Our monthly meetings boast a presentation by a successful author or other literary experts designed to help authors succeed.
Join us for our monthly programs.
SWW monthly meetings are held in person and via Zoom on the second Saturday of every month (except November, see below) — 10:00 to 11:45 am MT — and via Zoom only on the fourth Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm MT (no Wednesday meeting in December).
Monthly Workshops are held after our Saturday meetings from noon to 2:00 pm MT. In 2026, workshops will be held on the third Saturday of the month at the SWW office, times will vary.
Writer’s Coffee – A casual get together of writers once a month just for the heck of it.

Visitor/Guest Policy
With the new year comes a return to SWW’s previous policy concerning meeting attendance. We encourage visitors and guests to experience what our award-winning writers’ association has to offer. We request non-members limit their attendance to three meetings, after which we hope they will join SouthWest Writers. Visitors are welcome beyond their first three visits at a cost of $10 per meeting.
SouthWest Writers reserves the right to deny access to any SWW event to anyone who poses the possibility of being disruptive to the proceedings. Payments made online or through the office by said persons will be fully refunded.
